Visions to reality

Having a piece of furniture created for a space in your home, that you can use and enjoy for years to come is an important investment, one that requires thought, and an integral part of how you make your home your own.

No two pieces of furniture in my workshop are the same, but one thing remains constant: the quality of the materials I use, which I handpick to compliment each unique piece.

Find out more about my process, which always begins with an initial discussion to learn about your unique requirements, style, sizings and budget, and see what goes in to the creation of my bespoke furniture below.

First Meeting

Having a piece of furniture crafted for a space in your home, that you can use and enjoy for years to come is an important investment, one that requires thought. Our process is structured around this thinking, you as the customer involved in every aspect.

We'll begin with an initial meeting. We will arrange a day and time which suits you, to view the space, take some measurements and discuss your vision. Here, we will build a personalised brief around your requirements, style and even the things your furniture will keep safe.

Design & Tweak

Now we have collected all the valuable information Thomas will begin designing. During this stage you'll receive a project breakdown which will include a 2D dimensional drawing, some projects are accompanied by a 3D visual and your unique quotation.

At this point we will arrange a second visit for me to go through the project pack with you personally and discuss the finer details.

Once we have reviewed the design, tweaked any changes, your deposit will be charged.

It does not matter the size of the project we work on a first come first serve basis, meaning you will be added to the workshop schedule which typically runs with a 8-12week waiting time.

Delivery Day

We offer a high-end turn key service, from design, making and installation your cabinetry will handled by the same person throughout.

Thomas Jones Cabinet Makers will enter your home with a professional and discrete attitude, we will leave the area as it was when we arrived and will ensure a high quality finish.

After this simple four step process we will leave your home with a new piece of furniture which will fit the space perfectly and last a life time.

 Source & Craft

No two pieces of furniture in my workshop are the same, but one thing remains constant: the quality of the materials I use, which I handpick to compliment each unique piece.

Once all the materials, fixture's and fittings have arrived at the barn I will get to work hand crafting your piece of bespoke furniture. Because I offer a personalised service I can send progress reports or you can even visit me at the workshop.
